Audeara Secures Reseller Agreement with Optical Chain George & Matilda Eyecare

Audeara Secures Reseller Agreement with Optical Chain George & Matilda EyecareASX-listed audio technology company Audeara Limited (ASX: AUA) has announced a significant expansion of its Australian retail presence through a new reseller agreement with George & Matilda Eyecare, one of the country's largest independent optical networks.

The agreement will see George & Matilda's 115 locations across 140 Australian communities begin stocking Audeara's range of personalised audio solutions, starting with the company's recently launched Audeara Buds product.

Audeara's Managing Director and CEO Dr James Fielding said the partnership aligned with the company's expansion strategy into adjacent health sectors. "We are excited to have executed this agreement with George & Matilda Eyecare, which is one of the most trusted names in the Australian eye health and optical retail segment," Dr Fielding said. "Their reputation, Australian market footprint and our innovative audio technology has the potential to reach a broad customer base, who are expected to considerably benefit from the Company's solutions."

The partnership builds on Audeara's existing network of 1,500 clinics throughout Australia and represents another step in the company's strategy to broaden its market reach beyond traditional audiology channels.

George & Matilda Eyecare CEO Chris Beer said the collaboration would enhance the company's ability to provide comprehensive sensory health solutions to its customers. "We are excited to collaborate with Audeara and add their assisted listening device solutions to our existing range of world class hearing aids," Mr Beer said. "Our goal has always been to provide the best optical and audiology care to our patients."

The initial focus will be on retailing Audeara's new Buds product, which was launched in December 2024 as the company's first in-ear solution featuring AI-driven hearing health technology. The companies expect first sales to commence in the coming weeks, with plans to potentially expand to Audeara's full range of audiology solutions over time.

This latest agreement follows Audeara's recent international expansion, including a follow-up purchase order valued at US$917,000 (A$1.48m) from a global music instrument manufacturer and the launch of co-branded products with Taiwan's largest hearing aid retailer, Clinico Inc.

Audeara designs and engineers its products in Australia, focusing on tailored listening experiences for people with hearing challenges. The company sells its products through distributors and resellers across Australia, Europe, Asia and North America, as well as through e-commerce channels.
